HANGGLIDER, FULL-SCALE CONSTRUCTION, AUTUMN 2007
the task was to build a full-scale model in a small group as part of a 3rd semester building technology course. the choice of what to build was left for the group to decide, but the aim was to get a better understanding of materials and construction.

project description we ended up choosing to build a hang glider. the aim was to get as close as possible to a functioning modern hang glider (although the materials differs due to budget). the construction was made from scratch, basically out of aluminium tubes and steel wire.

opened, it is about 10 metres between the endpoints of the wings. it can easily be shut, taking a lot less space, and transported on the roof of a car.
